Our First Day at Work

Well I thought I would post something last night but after a long flight with lots of delays my head hit the pillow and I was out.

Had to buy things for lunch

We stopped by the store to get some things for lunch for the kids and then we went into the community to let them know we were there. We saw several of our kids who were now all grown up.

This is our boy Sheldon. 22 now and he always comes to visit us
lunch time!

They trickled in and by the time all was said and done we had 27 kids. Not a bad turnout for the first day.

What a privilege to be sharing Gods love with these special kids.

Aunti Kathi talks about creation and the Garden of Eden

What is a mission trip without unexpected things? Miss Molly turned on the water and it burst out of the pipe that was not secure at the elbow. But hey a little spit and Jamaican inginuity and No Problem.

Tomorrow Rick and Dan have their work cut out for them as they have been tasked with buiilding new lockers at the infirmary. And maybe fix that waterpipe…

More to follow tomorrow
